WhiteWall is a further, radical step toward democratizing art. That’s probably how a literary person would put it. We’re a little more grounded than that: we simply want to make the world of art accessible to more people.
Because there is a large group of art connoisseurs and art lovers who want to indulge in the pleasure of an image hanging on their own wall – without prohibitively expensive purchasing costs and having to go to 15 different addresses.
We are of the opinion that art shouldn’t just be an investment for high earners, but something accessible to everyone.
“We” are Stefanie Harig, Marc Ullrich, and meanwhile 70 team members. In 2003, we were already able to change and move the art market with the founding of LUMAS and the affordable editions it produced. With WhiteWall, we want to take this one step further.
As we no longer suffer the spatial limits of gallery rooms here, we can bring together yet more creative people and art lovers.
