We take your image to the next level

At WhiteWall, we are committed to printing your photos in the best possible quality — even if the resolution or original quality is not ideal. That’s why we now offer the additional WhiteWall SuperResolution optimization option in our configurator. From now on, all three optimizations — SuperResolution, ultraHD, and automatic image optimization — activated as the default setting in your account at no extra charge. Whether you want more sharpness, higher resolution, or improved color balance, you have full control over the image optimization settings. You can adjust them individually or deactivate them entirely if you prefer.

The three optimization options

SuperResolution
Higher resolution for larger prints

An older digital photo, a mobile photo, or an image from a chat group has too low a resolution for a large print? Our new upscaling function significantly increases the resolution of your photo, allowing it to be printed in large formats.

ultraHD
Maximum sharpness for the finest details

Our proven Ultra HD sharpening ensures optimal detail reproduction in high-resolution images. The sharpness is precisely adjusted to the selected print format and material – for professional prints with impressive clarity.

Image optimization
Automatic adjustment for brilliant colors

Make your image print-ready – effortlessly. Our image optimization automatically adjusts brightness, contrast, and color saturation to ensure your photos look their best on paper.

Upscale your imagesNew AI based feature
Upscaling up to six times the resolution

Is your photo too low in resolution for a large print? Our new feature increases the resolution of your image by multiple times, making it suitable for printing in larger formats. Ideal for smartphone photos, cropped images, or older digital photos that need higher image quality for printing.

To ensure that digital images remain razor-sharp in large formats, our new upscaling feature uses state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to enhance and, if necessary, add details. This way, details like hair, eyes, and fine structures are brought out, and quality limitations caused by traditional scaling are eliminated. With this, we make large formats accessible to all photography enthusiasts. The subject doesn't need to be professionally photographed to be printed in large format.

Precise format selection thanks to optimized quality display

Our improved quality display is now directly integrated into the format selection and automatically takes into account the increased resolution of your image. This way, you can instantly see the available print sizes as well as the expected print quality.

Easily activate or deactivate this feature here. For a permanent adjustment, you can save the setting in your customer account under "My Settings" – ensuring optimized image quality for every future order.

Image Optimization – Automatic Adjustment for Natural Brilliance

The automatic image optimization at WhiteWall is a helpful tool for all customers who haven't professionally edited their image file or adjusted color representation using ICC profiles.

Let your photos shine in full glory with our image optimization. This tool automatically improves brightness, contrast, and saturation for a perfectly balanced print result. Overexposure and color casts are reduced, and shadow areas gain more detail. Ideal for images that haven't been manually edited – for a quick and effortless improvement of print quality. The effect can be finely tuned and constantly monitored through the live preview.

WhiteWall pro tip: Keep this option active in the configurator if you haven’t made your own adjustments for printing or output.
