What is special about giclée prints from WhiteWall?
Giclée prints are photos printed using modern techniques such as inkjet printers, as opposed to photo prints made using a traditional photochemical process on photosensitive paper. WhiteWall offers high quality giclée prints on first-rate papers, such as Sihl paper for classic photo prints and posters with Latex inks or on Hahnemühle papers for Giclée prints on textured Giclée papers with pigment inks (Ultrachrome HD from Epson).
How can I order a giclée print from WhiteWall?
It just takes a few clicks to order your giclée print from WhiteWall. Start by uploading one or more photos and select the print options in the configurator. The place your design in the cart.
What giclée print options are available?
For your giclée print, you can choose from five high-quality papers from Hahnemühle or Sihl. Just select the format from a wide range of standard formats or opt for a customized format in order to respect the original dimensions of your photo. You can also choose a white border for your print with the width of your choice. To enhance the design, you can opt for Hahnemühle paper and frame your photos under glass. Simply choose from a selection of handmade solid wood frames.
What are the delivery deadlines for a giclée print?
You can receive your Giclée print within seven working days. Delivery will take around ten days for framed prints.
Can I order a hard proof of a giclee print?
At WhiteWall, before ordering a larger format or mounting, you have the option to order your motif as a proof print with a neutral watermark. This test print can be offered to you at a discounted price. You can find the option for this in the configurator in the right bar at the very bottom under "Order as proof print". If you select this, you will see the watermark accordingly in the preview.
What sizes and formats are available for Giclée prints?
You can print your giclée print in large or small format. Standard formats are available: square, 2:3, 3:4, DIN, panorama or you can select your format for customized printing. The maximum size available for your Giclée print is 270 x 122 cm. (106.3 in. x 48 in.)
Is it possible to get advice before ordering a Giclée print?
Before ordering, you can contact our advisers by e-mail or telephone or go to a store to discuss your options with our experts and see the Giclée prints. In the configurator, you also have the option to order the Giclée papers as proofs to get an idea of the final design.
Can I use photo taken with a smartphone to order a giclée print?
Nowadays, you can create high-quality photos with a smartphone. However, please check the resolution because if the format is too large, your photo might be pixelated. In general, pictures from smartphones do not pose a problem for small and medium formats, however you will not be able to order very large formats. After uploading your photo, the configurator will suggest a format size taking into account the settings of your photo.
