Accessibility Statement
WhiteWall Media GmbH (hereinafter referred to as WhiteWall) endeavours to make its website www.whitewall.com accessible in accordance with the requirements of the law implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility requirements for products and services and amending other laws (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz - BFSG) and the legal provisions concretising the law. This legislation includes, in particular, the Ordinance to the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSGV). The BFSG and the BFSGV come into force on 28 June 2025.
WhiteWall offers a comprehensive service for the personalised design and creation of high-quality photo products. Customers can have their favourite memories professionally printed in the form of wall pictures, photo books, calendars or photo prints. The service is characterised by user-friendly design options, intuitive software and modern printing technologies that guarantee excellent results.
Status of compliance with the requirements
The website www.whitewall.com largely fulfils the essential requirements of WCAG 2.2 (compliance level AA) and the technical requirements formulated in the BFSG Ordinance.
The accessibility of the website was tested with the following browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari.
We have summarised the most important aspects for you below, divided into the four accessibility criteria of perceptibility, usability, comprehensibility and robustness.
Perceptibility (sight & hearing)
In terms of contrast, font and layout, we use and support an easy-to-read font with sufficient size and spacing, sufficient colour contrasts for all text and visual elements.
Most illustrations have comprehensible alternative texts. Important videos have subtitles that can also be paused, stopped and adjusted in speed and volume.
Operability (keyboard, motor skills)
Keyboard operability: All functions can be accessed using the keyboard. The sequence of focus jumps follows an intuitive structure. When navigating with the keyboard, active elements are clearly highlighted.
Click surfaces & touch targets: Interactive elements are sufficiently large and leave enough space to other elements. Navigation works in portrait and landscape format, both on the desktop and on mobile devices.
Comprehensibility: We use clear and logical structures with short sentences and paragraphs. The navigation (main navigation and footer) are uniformly named.
Robustness & security
Our website is implemented with semantically correct HTML. ARIA roles support comprehensibility for screen readers. Payment forms are designed so that they can be used by all user groups and have no hidden CAPTCHA hurdles due to visual puzzles.
Non-accessible content
Unfortunately, the content listed below is not yet accessible:
PDFs are not accessible.
HTML markup occasionally contains errors that can lead to problems when using assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers).
Some images, graphics and moving images do not have meaningful alternative texts or transcriptions.
We are continuing to work on the necessary technical developments to make this content accessible to you soon and are doing everything we can to implement this as quickly as possible.
If you encounter any barriers when using the WhiteWall ordering channels, we would like to politely refer you to our accessible website at www.whitewall.com, where you can find comprehensive information and support.

Market surveillance authority
Responsible according to §§ 20 ff. BFSG and Art. 2, 3 of the State Treaty of the Federal States is the ‘Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF)’.
